FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The full combined ticket is €18 and includes the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine for 24 hours. The EU reduced rate (18-24) is €2 (source: colosseo.it).

The Palatine is not sold as a single entry: it is always paired with at least the Roman Forum. There is a Forum-Palatine combined ticket without the Colosseum, as well as one covering all three sites.

Under-18s enter free, but a named entry document must still be issued together with the others.

It depends. Entry alone costs less; a guided tour, from about €36, adds a guide's narration and saves time. For a first visit, many choose the combined tour.

Official fares may include a small booking fee. With guided tours, the service cost is already included in the listed price.
